International press conference during Europe’s high mass of tech & innovation.
For the third year running, Vademecom and its pan-European partner network are in charge of press relations for the EIT in general, and media coverage of INNOVEIT, their annual innovation forum in Budapest, in particular. So, we reached out to Europe’s finest media, resulting in +50 top journalists on site each year, and a few hundred strategic interviews in total.

DOCKS BRUXSEL FROM SHOPPING CENTER TO LIVING CENTER !
Against its will, Docks Bruxsel, the youngest of the Brussels shopping centres, got sucked into a spiral of unsubstantiated rumours and wrong perceptions. To proactively counter this negative dynamic, they turned to WMH Project.
And so, we did our magic: strategic press briefings, promotion of an internationally renowned charity event, VIP reception, top encounters with lifestyle influencers, an entire series of advertising campaigns, even a Princely visit!
The figures speak for themselves: as the sector is overall losing ground, Docks recorded a 7% increase in visitors, while its hundred or so merchants saw an average growth of 9% in their turnover (compared to 4% elsewhere).
"PR can be so old-fashioned... We were looking for a game changer - and we found it."

HEART RHYTHM WEEK
JobEvent & E-Event
Biggest national awareness campaign on heart rhythm disorders.
Over a period of ten years, Vademecom has developed this action, which brings together a hundred Belgian hospitals and several dozen secondary schools, into an annual fixture. Over time, and despite the modest size of our country, the Heart Rhythm Week has become the most important action of its kind worldwide!
An educational website enables tens of thousands of citizens to get informed and participate in hundreds of field actions, such as initiations in resuscitation or free heart rhythm screenings.
To support the campaign, we produce 100.000 flyers as well as thousands of posters, beachflags and other displays. All year long, we communicate towards the media, and our press conference in spring traditionally attracts plenty of journalists from all corners.
The different actions are also promoted through Facebook, for which we provide all content and perform the community management. Last but not least, we organise a surprise action every year, like this flashmob in the Brussels central train station where about 100 choristers and volunteering dancers gathered to symbolically portray an atrial fibrillation. Click on the picture to watch the clip – more than 25.000 people did so before!
"Dedication and enthusiasm to always surpass expectations."
